Here are the top 8-11 games.
The complete List of the Top 37 Games.
Here, there will be games from a very unconventional console. The first gaming console in history. After all, it had almost no graphics of its own, which consisted of just a few pixels. The main graphics were a plastic overlay with a drawn picture that was attached to the screen and held there by the static electricity of old televisions.
Old televisions were cathode ray, not liquid crystal, like today. The package also included a paper instruction manual, chips, cards, dice, and so on, depending on the game.
Submarine (Odyssey)
Two players can play here. The first player tries to travel from the start to the end, while the other player tries to hit them with a torpedo. You need to complete 3 ships to finish. The count is kept of how many times torpedoes were fired before successfully hitting. Then the players switch roles, and the winner is the one with fewer hits.
Ski (Odyssey)
There are two game modes: time or points.
In the time mode, you have to complete the course within a set time without going off the track. If you go off the track, one second is added to your time, and if you touch the gates (red dots), two seconds are added. Hitting a tree adds three seconds. If you hit any of the mountains, the attempt is not counted. Each player is given three attempts, and the best time is recorded.
In the points mode, you earn points for the following interactions: going off the track - 5 points, interacting with the gates - 10 points, hitting a tree - 15 points, Eastern mountain - 25 points, Central mountain - 30 points, Western mountain - 25 points. The winner is the one with the fewest points.
Simon Says (Odyssey)
This game is more about reaction than erudition. The third player must draw a card with a body part image from the deck and choose two options: "Simon says" and name the body part or just name the body part. If the phrase starts with "Simon says," the player who reaches the card on the screen first gets it. If this happens simultaneously, the card remains in the deck until the next time.
After the draw of each card, players return to their initial positions. If there's no starting phrase, you must remain still. In other words, it's a trick not to move from the starting position and not react. If you react even a little, you give away the card you already won. The game continues until the last card in the deck, and then each player counts how many cards they have.
Cat and Mouse (Odyssey)
The mouse and the cat have starting positions from which they begin each round of the game. The mouse wants to escape, and the cat wants to catch the mouse. You cannot move through the blue squares, or else you start over. In each round, there are 3 attempts. If the cat catches the mouse, they earn points calculated as the sum of the digits horizontally and vertically. Then the players switch roles, and the winner is the one with more points.
