Seawar  Mainframe

You have a fleet of 9 ships, and you must destroy the enemy fleet. The game is very similar to the board game Battleship, but with some differences.

Instead of coordinates, you specify the firing angle. You have 7 seconds to decide your move.

Rabbit Chase  Mainframe

In this game, you will attempt to catch a rabbit. You need to get close to it at a distance of at least 20 units.

You are given data about the rabbit's location, direction of movement, and speed, as well as your own data. You need to match this data to calculate the convergence trajectory.

Geowar  Mainframe

Here, you control a missile battery. The objective is to destroy 5 enemy objects located within a 30 by 30 grid but not within a 10 by 10 area.

Missiles endlessly travel in the direction of the shot and can hit multiple targets. If a missile misses, the target moves one unit in a random direction.

Dungeon  Mainframe

This is one of the early multiplayer role-playing games, Dungeon (MUD). The view is from a first-person perspective with vector graphics. The game operated through the PLATO network. Players could join each other to explore these intricate dungeons where various monsters awaited them.

The game, like many others of its kind, was inspired by the tabletop game D&D (Dungeons & Dragons).

Orthanc  Terminal

This game ran on the university PLATO system and is an enhancement of the role-playing game Pedit5. Many innovations were added, including more dungeons, monsters, and spells.

In this game, you take on the role of a knight seeking retirement with glory. You have various attributes like strength or agility, and the character is viewed from a top-down perspective. To level up, you must exit the dungeon, and leveling up increases both life and magic points.

At the bottom of the screen, you see all the necessary information: statistics, inventory, spells.

In the game, you could encounter other players with whom you could not only fight but also cooperate.
